Meet Joseph

Owner & Operator

There's a story to the man behind the mower. He'll be the first to tell you...he was made to work. Hard. Ever since he was a young boy, he gravitated towards physically demanding activities with passion and intensity. His relatives were farmers and his dad was a baker, so there were ample opportunities for him to get his hands dirty growing up. This physical drive also naturally expressed itself in sports, wrestling, and olympic weightlifting.

It's no surprise that Joseph went on to become a collegiate strength coach after completing his studies at LSU. Pushing the body to its physical limits was, after all, something that was written in him. Why not help others achieve this as a career?

After several years as a successful strength coach, God caught Joseph's attention like only God can. Joseph sold all of his possessions and gave up everything to pursue the heart of God at a Benedictine Monastery in Oregon. During this time, his assigned duty was to maintain the upkeep of the monastery gardens. His tasks demanded physical labor, patience, and silence. During this providential experience, God tilled Joseph’s soul and he began to find true peace.

Ultimately, Joseph discerned God was not calling him to monastic life...however, his time spent at the monastery taught him much about life and living in peace that he would take with him back to the world.

With the support and grace of his family, Joseph decided to launch his own lawn care business, calling upon his experience and skills learned at the monastery. He advanced his knowledge in the field by becoming a certified landscape horticulturist. And on the side, he competed as an elite USA cyclist. Yes...on the side ;)

Joseph has been able to grow his business from the ground up and has found great personal fulfillment in being able to provide lawn care services for his clients. To this day, Joseph counts his blessings for being able to do something he loves for a “job,” that seems to have been written in him all along. He is excited by the prospect of learning and evolving as a landscape horticulturist, realizing it’s a field that can never quite be outgrown. There is always room for growth; there is always room for expansion. Joseph is thankful and humbled by the business and the people God has brought into his life through this path and he looks forward to God’s future plans for growth.
